Day care centres

There are 15 modern day care centres with crèche, kindergarten, nursery or a combination of these types of childcare in Reichenbach.

These guarantee the all-round care of the youngest children by pedagogical skilled personnel on the basis of the Saxon education plan. 
The municipal, church or private institutions rely on different pedagogical concepts in order to de-velop the individual abilities according to age. All institutions have the following in common: they invite to play, offer space and time for trying, building and drawing, for singing and playing music and for sleeping.

Youth clubs

The four youth clubs administered by municipal authorities or by associations in the town of Reich-enbach provide various kinds of leisure activities for our children and adolescents after school, in the holidays or at the weekends.

Zumba or breakdance courses invite to participate as well as creative interactive activities or themed games for both indoors and outdoors. Or, if you prefer, you can just chill and chat. There are many great excursions with overnight camps on the holiday programme.
Minders trained in social education also assist the children and adolescents with advice and specific practical support with the homework or in difficult personal situations.
